As I know we will have a lot of new racers to the ANRA family this weekend, I want to make sure there are a few simple and straight forward rules that apply to everyone...in all classes: 1) No stutter boxes, delay boxes or throttle stops (non-manual). If they are on the car, they need to come off the car. I don't care if they are disconnected or not. If you have questions regarding ingition systems, see below. 2) No nitrous systems. Once again, if it is on the car, it must come off the car. 3) For ingition systems rules, we are following what the VRA had in place as of the end of 2006. If you were legal at the 2007 March Meet you will be legal with us. see: www.vratech.com/vra_guides/vra_approved_ignition.htmAny other qustions may be addressed directly to me on this board or you can email me at jr@anra.com Thank you

As a side note...the gentleman that will be heading up tech for us at Famoso were also on hand at the March Meet and are authorized by the ANRA to make any safety issue decisions at the event. We will do are best to keep everything seemless with other nostalgia events this year.....

Are open headers allowed in Sportsman 12.0 and slower class? I'm not sure, this is my first time racing with you guys.
Thanks, Steve

ELECTRONICALLY MANUAL WOULD BE OPERATED BY SHIFTING THE CAR AND THE THROTTLE STOP WOULD CLOSE OR OPEN ELECTRICALLY. MANUALLY WOULD BE WITH YOUR HAND,FOOT,BOLT ON FLOOR

If the throttle is opertated "electrically" it is, by definition, NOT a manual throttle stop. Manual means just what it says. The throttle must be operated via purely mechanical means with no electrical or electronic intervention.

Nothing on timers. Nothing Electrical. Rev limiters are allowed, but nothing that will cut your throttle in and out down track. Things that are allowed: driver activited air shifters, trans brakes, your thumbs and both feet...... As far as data recorders....as long as they do not control ANY functions of the vehicle while on track.
