I hate to say it, but not sure I'll be there. Probably only going if I have a car to help on....too much going on in August, so if I'm not racing myself, hard to make this event..

Sandy & I will be there, God willing. I was very happy to see the bakersfield attitude of old at the last race. I only went to 1 gg race.......once was enough. Mini trucks were not welcome. I am as sad as anyone out here to see Bernie pack it in, but do welcome the traction & restrooms. Ron #7306

We will be running a night race on the 25th. Was in Denver with Josh's JR dragster all week and will get with it today. The track is having a T & T on Friday night so I need to work out some details around that. It is an open T & T so everyone is welcome I will post the gate times and cost

Butch, thanks for clarifying the open T&T the night before, which works perfect for me, I need some major seat time.
As far as night time race on the 25th, are you talking about starting in the afternoon or the same 9am start time as the June race?
Thanks!

We will open the gates in the afternoon and run into the night this will give the racers that want to come in on Friday for the T & T and those that want to take it easy on Saturday and not have leave home so early. Just like the old days racing under the lights. We were there a couple of weeks ago and the track was great all night and the lights are fantantic. There will not be a overnight charge to camp Friday or Saturday night and I will have security there. I do have a list of hotels in the area if anyone wants some numbers. Past the word. Butch

Well, Tweety's Revenge is finally looking good. We will be there enforce and ready to go. Plan on BBQing up some wings on SAT night. If you can smell 'em, you can have 'em. John and I will see you there!!!
