Well I drove out to the LACR funneral, I mean Last Drag Race. Car count was down today. Seen THE GRUZEN's make a tire shaking run. Track wasn't there. Got a T-SHIRT. {XXXXL thats all they had left} Now we'll see if anybody can get us a track to run at? We still have B-FIELD. Hopefully FONTANA WILL GET THERE ACT TOGETHER!

Anyone know the condition of Chuck Craddock? They were pitted next to us and left in such a hurry, I was unable to speak to anyone. Anybody? Hope he's all right.

The track was not there, but the wind sure was. Scary in those old altered's. The drunks were there as well.
Anyone know how the driver who rolled is doing? I think he was one of ours. Our prayers are with him.

I talked to them today and I understand it was Bert in the car and that he is OK Did take him to the hospital and had him checked out. Talked to Bernie hes said the car was banged up but the cage did it's job.

We did not make the last race at LACR Was in Denver for the Jr Dragster WCF's. I understand that ANRA had a good turn out of racers there. Thanks to all that made it.
I did get a chance to run one last pass there a few weeks ago I got in to Josh's Jr and made a pass to a lot of supprised people I did get in and did not make to big of a fool of my self. Getting in was no problem getting out, now thats a different story. It was cool to make a pass but sad knowing I would never have chance to do it again.
It's bad that there is one less track in So/Cal and a lot of kids going to not know what it is like to race.

As hard as it has been to race there the last 2 seasons I will miss LACR for all the great times we had there . I was at Infineon Raceway at the NHRA Autolite Nationals last weekend and couldn't be at LACR for the last drag race either. I was talking to Fast Jack Beckman there and asked him why he was missing the last drag race at LACR so he could be #1 qualifier in Top Fuel Funny Car ;D. He spent a lot of time at LACR too and is bummed to see another track go away . I won my first race - my first championship - my first Wally - got my license there ...I met some of the best friends I've ever known there . It just doesn't seem right that I don't have any more dates on my calender for LACR . Feels like something is missing....It is
