Just wondering who all is coming to the "COOL AUGUST NIGHTS" at Auto Club Famoso on the 25th? Hopping everyone can make it. The track will be ready will you?
The track will be having a T & T this weekend and one on Friday the 24th. before our race.
Lets get a good turn out. Nothing but GOOD RACING AND FUN.

We will have 3 cars coming out. We intend on testing Friday Night. If we test on Friday night will our tech inspection carry over for Saturday's race?

I will be there with my 65 Comet with a new trans that I hope has all"4" gears working!Steve are you bringing the video camera?Maybe Eric and I can line up together so you can get two Fords with the wheels up!I bet the car count will be up,cooler air+a great track=more cars! ROY .

I would like to know if you will have a test and tune of Friday night and Saturday night at Famoso. My car is too new to qualify for ANRA races but I need to get it set up for the Pinks All Out race at Las Vegas.

I know Famoso raceway has an Open Test and Tune Friday night gates open at 6:00 pm . I don't know if there will be a T n T lane open at the "Cool August Night" race....Butch?

Hi Butch,
Do you guys have the track all to yourselves on that Saturday race? Meaning, no other associations coming in too? If so, could I make a couple of shake down runs in my F/C that Saturday? It still has the Tempo body on it, so I'd run in the Time Only lane if there is one.

Bill we have the track to our selfs. However we are starting later in the evening this time because of the heat so am not going to run any T & T this time. Put on the Pre "79" body and come racing.
They do have a T&T on Friday night before our race Gates will open at 6:00 cars down the track at 7:00 Last last T & T track held good last car down was at 12:30 ran a 5.30 @ 274+ so the track will hold .

Thanks Butch. Cuda body isn't ready yet so I guess we'll have to pass. May try the T&T on the 24th though.
Have they addressed the pot hole situation in the pits at Famoso? I'm a little leary of running there at night for fear of breaking the car getting back to our trailer!
