Safety?

Have had several calls about safety and have asked Joel to try to help answer some of the questions on the message board. Not a lot of new rules that I can see but now is the time to see what we need to update before the season starts.

Thanks Joel this is really appreciated. Our 3 year chassis cert is coming up and we would like to keep the 6.0 cert. Any changes made for the altered/fc chassis for 6.0?

If it passed 3 years ago, there should be no problem getting it recerted..My suggestion.. When you have your chassis recerted, suggest that you make everything as easy to see and get to for the inspector.. Another words, From the fire wall/Engine plate back, make sure everything can be seen and available for 'sonic check' by the tech, without him/her having to go thru any physical antics to get to what they want to see.. (if you can)..

The car is just a chassis right now, the rear end and brakes are out getting freshened up but should have them back in a couple weeks as well. the car will just be a bare roller.
