On Jan. 1st, 2014 I lost my Father, Car Owner, Crew Cheif & friend. He battled a hard fight but the cancer finally prevailed. Loren was a long time drag racer. Was great friends with Roger Coburn & James Warren and worked on there Top Fuel car for years. In 2008 we built a 48 altered Fiat that we ran in NE 2. My dad was a huge fan of Butch and the ANRA series and all of the great family we built out there. This Saturday, Jan 25, 2014 we are having a celebration of life party in his honor at the Stockdale Moose Lodge, 905 Stine Rd., Bakersfield, Ca 93309. There will be Race Cars & Hot Rods on display. Thanks to all y'all. Means a lot. Butch the party starts at 12 pm. I've told people they can bring a appetizer if they want, no biggy. You can bring an ANRA banner if you want. Would love to hang it on the fence for some great photo ops. Hope to see everyone there. -GW
