That PIC must have been when the pipe cars were getting rained on, still on our way to the track/ Airport
It was a great day. We had a blast. Thanks Roy for getting the Inljcted car fired up so we could back up with the Flag girl 3 takes. Wish we could have all gone to dinner together. It was a long day for us dragster guys. I left the house at 4:50 am and got home at 10:25 pm.
Roy, Do you know that by the time Eric told you that my frame broke it was already fixed?
Chris Curtis, lives 2 blocks from me and the reparied frame, and it was back at my shop Tues about 6:30 pm. HE IS the MAN!

Steve;great pictures,especially that awsome Comet!Did you notice Eric's helmet?That was mine from back in the 60's! Jeff;no, Eric just said you had someone close by that could fix that OLD pipe!Thankx for letting me work on that old stove bolt Chevy! ROY.
