Greatly appreciated...The size of the 'shot' is not a prerequisite..It's going to be used in a weight bar for the front of the "Mighty Mouse"...As long as it will pour into a 3/4" diameter hole.
If your get into Downey, give me a call...562 630-4031..I'll be glad to meet up with you...Downey is only about 15 mins from my place...Thx again...

joel just go to a tire shop and get old wheel weight I melted down 50 lbs for the front end of my. car . just get a piece of pipe as long as you want cap off one end and start droping weights in ( heat pipe with a torch )and as they melt the steel hooks will float to the top just flick them off with a coat hanger or some stiff wire and put more in . I started with 50 lbs of weight and after they were all melted down and I had got all the steel flip out I had 38 lbs leff. Bud

I was told to check shooting clubs with shotgun ranges. They re-clain the shot( I have no idea how ) and sell it to the public. There's supposed to be a big shooting club in Whittier.

yup next to lakewood blvd and the 60 fwy. I use to shoot there. also down near the 405 fwy and the harbor fwy I shot there too. But I dont know about them selling recalim shot. one thing you might want to keep in mind the shot needs to be in one chunk if possable if it loose in a piece of pipe it can shift around unless you have some woding in there to keep it from moving. I built a fire and put a old bread pan in it and just keep putting (lead)weight in till it got full and ( rule Book)set 2 !/2 bolts in it and when it cooled off they set in solid and ready to bolt on . just knock it out of the pan hit it with a little paint and bolt it on.wala 38 lb of dead weight. it will make your mouse nose heavy .LOL Bud

Buck shot is expensive , I checked . If you take your weight tube and paint a duck on it , the guys at the shooting range will fill it for you . Chuck

Joel, I found nothing not even his reloader. Check with Triple B Clays Shotgun Sports Park at Rosemead and the 60 freeway I know they have reclaimed shot for sale. www.tripleclays.com or (626) 579-5201. Sorry about that, good luck - Snarlin

Snarlin...Thx.. appreciate the effort... Dean..Contacted those folks you told me about...They no longer carry the stuff..Thx anyway.. NO...Aint paintin' no duck on the 'Mouse'.. I found a place in Westminster that carries it...Almost went into complete 'diarehea' when they told me what they're getting for a 25 lb bag...Did hit the internet and seems like the price of that stuff has skyrocketed.. Think I'll go to "Toy R Us" and scrap some of the paint and colors off the toys that came out of "you know where" ..lol... Thanks everyone.. ;D

What about WW Grainger or McMaster-Carr, or a film production suppy house? They seem to have everything. You may have to switch to Brass. Oh what do I know.
