I have a few of my buddies from the VW scene who would like to join in the fun. They are asking for the rules.
One has already been told that EFI is not allowed, so that has the others asking questions. Is there somewhere we can direct them to to get their questions answered?
Thanks!

Thanks. I tried the link on the ANRA homepage, but it doesn't give specifics, but rather a very general overview of each class. I am certain that ANRA has it's own adaptation of the NHRA Nostalgia rules since both nitrous and EFI seem to be allowed in Heritage Series classes, but not in ANRA.

As far as I know Nitrous and electronic Fuel Injection are not allowed in the Heritage Series - You might want to check the rules in the NHRA rule book

I did check the rule book. Nitrous is allowed in the bracket classes. There is no mention of EFI

It seems the NHRA supplement is contradictory in this regard ;D. Here something from general regulations... Nitrous Oxide: Nitrous oxide permitted in E.T. classes. The use of any agents .....
And then there's this under "Hot Rod Eliminator" NITROUS OXIDE Nitrous oxide prohibited.
Pretty amusing actually.
Butch has already said Nitrous was a no no along with EFI. I'm fine with that. People are asking me about rules so I'm asking here. They wanna have fun too! But they don't want to make the tow then get turned away.

I SAW THE SAME IN THE RULES, BUT IM SURE IT WAS A TYPO OR IT WAS FOR ANOTHER GAS CATAGORY. WHY WOULD THEY NOT ALLOW A/G TO HAVE TOW VEHICLES. I KNOW YOUR NOT ALLOWED TRUCKS IN ANY OTHER CLASS BUT A/G MAYBE THATS WHAT THEY MEANT. BUT IM PRETTY SURE GINO IS SMOKING SOMETHING.

I think you need to keep it just the way it is Butch. We really like the low key relaxed atmosphere at your events. It's why I've been praising ANRA races at the "other" series we race in.
