Our Power Guide transmission is tired and we don't want any trouble at the track. Jimmy wants to take it to L A to have the work done. I think there should be someone close to us that can do a good job on it. I like to keep it local if possible.

Where are you from?
We take ours to Ken "Racer Brown" in Ventura 805-643-1262. He also races his '52 Chevy in C/G.

Try Ken Carol(sp) at Kern Transmission.....he's a great guy and built me one heck of a race trans....he's pretty much the official trans guy of Bedrock Racing.

Andrews transmission in Visalia. The best I know of for race Powerglides. We take ours all the way from Los Angeles to get done. Several nostalgia racers have had his stuff for many years.

Mikes in Lancaster. OUTSTANDING work and he definitely stands behind his work. We exploded the third member housing on a launch while shaking down my car. The vibration of the shaft beating in the loop spider webbed the trans case. Mike was all over it and got me right back on track.
