Night of Nostalgia - Barona Drag Strip 1st annual 'Fox Hunt'.

Barona 1/8th mile drag strip, in conjunction with the Nostalgia Elminator Racing Association (NERA) is proud to announce the inaugural "Night of Nostalgia"/"Fox Hunt", where all WOMEN will be admitted FREE!! on Saturday, September 23rd, 2006 at the Barona Drag Strip. This event will feature one of the greatest variets of Non-Electronics Nostalgia type vehicles ever assembled. What's your choice?? Dragsters, blown or unblown; Altered Coupes and Roadsters,Competition Coupes, Modified Roadsters, and Funny Cars. Many on alcohol, some on NITRO. You choose, you cheer for your favorites. Visit the pit area and get up 'close and personal' with all the competitors that will be there.

Barona 1/8th mile Drag Strip is a NHRA sanctioned track. All NERA cars will run on a 4.85 et Index with NO MILE PER HOUR limitations. Will new track records be set and established? Come out and for yourselves. NO ELECTRONICS allowed in this class. Winners do it the way it used to be; between the tuner and driver.

Barona now features NEW permanent rest room facilities and running water, and a new restaurant on the premises. Make plans to come out and enjoy the races.

Gates open at 11a.m. Racing starts at 3pm and will end at 11pm

Spectators $15
Kids 7 - 12 years old, $5.00..Ages 6 and under are Free

That sounds really great.We are really having drag racing withdrawals.We went to Seattle,Bowling Green and Indy (All Rained Out)and it is hard to find racing for Altereds.Alot more of the door slammer bracket racing.We are counting the days until Cool Aug.Nites.Thanks for the info. Joel maybe we can get a good turn out of the NE I cars at the ANRA Fall Nationals Saturday September 9th, 2006 for a good T & T heck we may even run you guys 1/8 just to get your tune ups.

Josh said that if we run 1/8 mile maybe he can join in. ;D
