Wickham says, "Because my late father Reid A. Wickham loved drag racing as a racer and a fan, I grew up around the sport. I really appreciated getting the chance to talk to Steve Torrence, who is the best of the best in the NHRA. Our heart-felt discussion, which goes way beneath the surface, hopefully makes my dad smile up in heaven. Steve describes his humble beginnings and talks about what it was like growing up in East Texas.
