on a dry manifold system ,tunnelram with hat. wouldn't the runner size change as your not mixing fuel but just air?couldn't you flow more air thru a somewhat smaller size since fuel is entering at the end?

Thats probably a true statement But since it is only air and not fuel. it really doesn't matter what size the runners are as long as it gets enough air. and the tunnel ram manifold has long runners and gives you that wind tunnel effect.. I have a Cleveland ford with the 4V heads and tunnel manifold with the Enderle bug hat. The thing I have found out is that the plentum chamber size and shape have some effect on the amount of turbulence in the box before it heads down the runners. I know this might not make to much sence, But I really don't quite know how to explain it typing...
