Can anybody recommend a good engine builder in the Southern California area. I am trying to get my 700 hp 383 rebuilt. I threw all kinds of parts out through the bottom end Thanks, Snarlin

Ric Faucet is in S L O. Butch knows him. their web site is: www.makeitmotorsports.com Their site is dedicated to Jr. Dragsters but he builds lots of big motors too. He is a great guy and builds super engines at a great price. Tell him Dragster Jeff sent you.

Thanks, Snarlin Rick at Makeitmotorsports builds the motors for a lot of the JR cars and a lot of big motors, in fact he was pitted just a couple of cars east of you Saturday. He built the motor for Josh's JR and also the winner of the 10 to 12 year old class. Larry at Valley Head Service runs the 57 Chevy A/Gas car that is ANRA Champ 2006 both are qualified to build any motor. Larry will do anything to help you out they have been around for a long time.

Valley Head Service?? Only 40+ years of experience...Does quite a bit of work for a number of T/F, NFC, NE (like me) etc... His main guys have only been there about 25+ years, so you've got some major experience there...One Stop Shop...Can't beat it (But don't tell him I said that .Might ruin my rep

Thunderworks in Victorville (760)241-4500. Marv does great work, from mild to wild. He used to work for Keith Black. He did Lyles last motor and is a full service engine machine shop. He did a complete rebuild on a TA/FC engine in 3 days for a friend of Lyles. Very reasonable on his labor too!

Well it`s worst than we thought we broke the block . (sounds like a bad song) We are having a new Dart stoker motor built and it won`t be ready in time for this weekend. ARP rod bolts Butch, some of my crew and I will be at the opener to help out if needed. Snarlin

For engines, see Ron Brown. He is the best I have seen in a long while and he will not rape you when it comes time to pay. He has a number of engines in stock as it is. I have yet to see a problem with one of his motors. Tweety' Revenge
