Technical question . If I tape an egg timer to my helmet and set it to 8.60 sec. is this still considered electronics ? I'm thinking when it goes ding I will lift . I will use good 3M tape so it will pass tech. Chuck ;D

If the egg timer is spring operated your good to go. But if it has a 9 volt battery it's NOT legal.
You could use velcro and slap it on your helmet as you stage the car.

YOU ACTUALLY WOULD HAVE TO SET IT TO 8.00 SECONDS BECAUSE IT TAKE .3 TO REACT TO THE CLANKING ON YOUR HELMET THEN ANOTHER .3 TO ACTUALLY RELEASE THE ACCELERATOR

Tried the Velcro but when the timmer went off it fell and jamed between my foot and the gas pedal . I would have broken out . Chuck
