Yep She didi it. Tammy Krista Jewel and I, went up to Sac with Her car on Fri afternoon. We got a room near the track. The gates opened at 10:am we were there at 9:40. Got in unloaded and let her drive the car around the pits to get the feel of it before we went to the lanes. After she got thru tech It was time to suit up. First burnout was a good one, typical s/c burnout. She said after the tach was up close to 8... She backed up with Mom out front guiding her back. I reminded her abou a thousand things but forgot the part about putting her head back against the pad on the cage, Well She got the message real quick. She lifted and drove it down the track 16.4 at 80mph... 2nd pass was a better '60 1.45 and got off the gas real soon 14.20 about 80 again . 3rd pass she came off the line good but lifted again real soon...... about 250 ft out she got back in the gas and the car did a burnout and turned right. She gathered it back up without crossing the center line and idled it on out. She figured out that her foot was comming off the pedal when the car left so I made some more adgustments to the seat. 4th pass she stayed in it to 1/2 track and lifted, 9.40 @ 98mph, 132 at 1/2 track. 1.16 @60' Nice! The added pillow worked... Next pass was about 800' and she went 8.51 at 129,, 136 at 1/2 track 1.14 @60' the next 2 passes were both in the 8.8 zone and she got the chute out on the last one. she got sighned of and we were loaded up and ready to leave about 5:pm
It was a great day only about 30 cars 4 or 5 motorcycles and a couple of Jrs.
I am really proud of the way she handled the car and I know she learned a lot. Her Fathers sister and her neice were there to see it all and Jewel did the viedo taping of all her LIC runs. I know her father is proud watchin from his place along the rail up in heaven.
She wants to drive my car now to see the difference between the 2, that will come soon. We plan on running her at as many Div 7 races we can get to in 2009.

What a weekend, thanks to everyone for your support and well wishes. Krista was amazing, before Saturday morning, she had only sat it the car in the shop with it running. Wow, that a boy girl! What feeling, this is sooo cool.

This is too cool, very proud mommie and daddie . I fill sorry for the guy that Krista brings to the track with all these uncles.
