Has anyone ever hooked up a power glide to a 392 hemi ? I have talked to JW transmissions and Wil Cap . One makes a ultra bell housing and the other an adaptor plate . A 727 maybe the way to go . Thanks Chuck

Go with the Power Glide . They can make them stronger than you'll ever need - A friend of mine has been through four 727's behind his 526 Hemi . He's going to gut a Glide in it

Hey Deano...While your "rootin' around" that storage area of yours, please remove the snow and see if you by chance, have an adapter plate to mate a 354 Hemi to an 'early Ford' transmission......Like '39 Ford...Or if anyone else might have one, please "E" mail me...Thx..Joel

Mike's Transmission is a dealer for JW transmission and also can build a badass powerglide. I have the 2,000 HP glide behind a 900HP 572 and have not even had a slight problem out of it. The JW super case I have has a seperate bellhousing for the GM product engines. They also can adapt to the Mopar and Ford engines, just change out the bellhousing. Mike also has the Monsterglide for the 2,000HP and up. I also have a Continetal torkeconverter form Mike two years and counting and also two transmissions. Mike is the way for top HP engines. Jeff

Thanks Jeff , I have talked to JW about there Ultra bell housing . It is 18'' wide and my car is 17.5'' . They said I could trim it but it is SFI approved . They are changing foundries and it may take a while . But still under consideration . I will call Mikes . Chuck
