Hey guys. I have a tube axle Falcon I bought from a guy in Camarillo CA. He bought it from an old lady whose husband passed away. I'm trying to get the history on it. It is very vintage. It has the original Goodyear Bluestreak Drag way special slicks. Quad ram 289 with a 4spd and 9" with 5.13 gears. It is metallic green and still has the original fire extinguisher with a $1.79 price tag on it! Anyone ever saw it run? Thanks.
P.S. I'm almost done with it. Be sure to look for it on the track.

I saw this car come out of the garage it had been in for about 30 years . Those brand new Goodyear Blue Streaks had been stored in a closet ...never installed for all those years . it is a straight front axle Highboy Gasser stance car with a teardrop hood scoop . big radiused rear fenders to make room for the slicks . 4 speed car . It had 2 cases of Kendall GT Racing oil ( the old big round quart cans ) in the trunk along with a bunch of old Drag News and other magazines that hadn't seen daylight in 30 years or so . I wanted this car bad and didn't know it was for sale until it was gone . I helped work on the car as my neighbor is the one you bought it from . I don't know much history about the car but I know some old Ford guys that can probably help . What a great old piece ...I can't wait to see that thing run , pretty scary looking welds and chassis work as I remember..be careful and check it out real close!!!!

You must be the Eric I'm trying to sell the C-4 to. Good to see you. I should have it going soon. It's shakedown pass will probably be at one of the ANRA meets coming up. I just finished putting a 6 point roll bar in her. I got a new carpet kit off of Ebay. I just need a couple of more safety pieces and an updated helmet and I should be good to go.

Eric told me about the Falcon,I have asked around but have not been able to get any info.I have raced out of Camarillo for over 35 years and don't remember the car[of course I do have CRS].Good luck with the car,looking forward to seeing it run.I have a 65 Comet,347,4-speed,light blue that I've raced since 67.Roy Real Racecars have 3 pedals!
