Ford 460 PISTONS
Need FORD, Forged TRW L2443NF-30 pistons, 4.390 (.030" over) bore w/.300" dome.
Lost an intake seat in Las Vegas during T&T last month and wasted two pistons, cant find any on the shelf.
Federal Mogal is having their pistons made in India now and the replacements for this number are JUNK, they weigh 30 to 40 grams less than the USA older ones!
We want to get the motor together for the March meet, cant get the new motor done and in the car in time! Need to patch this motor together to start the season!
If you or someone you know has a new or used set or even two of these, I really need a couple!
Even if they are already fly cut for valve clearance, they may work for me, mine are cut very deep for the cam we use and we will most likly have to re-cut the used ones!
I have called every speed shop I can to see if they have an old set sitting on a shelf or under the bench, but have found nothing!
