I spent 2 hrs in staging lanes between 1st and 2nd pass. found out what I wanted to know and came home. They charged $80 for two days with no discount if only racing one day.

It sure seems like those guys are getting greedy does it not? IF the March Meet T n T is for people already registered and meet the requirements (Pre 1972 yr model) etc. WHY let rice grinders and newer vehicles in to take up MM TnT run times. I guess it is all about the BUCK and to h*** with the racers that support the track. I for one will be glad when the Tulare track gets built. I will drive a little further just to have the satisfaction of knowing the outfit down here isn't getting my hard earned dollars and leaving me sitting in the lanes and waiting, and waiting, and waiting ......I hope you can get the picture. Sure they have done some improvements on the place, but come on, we all know it is about the buck......... AND those restrooms YUK !!!! What could it possibly cost to buy some sanitation supplies and paint. I know several of us that would be more than willing to donate the time to revamp them. C'mon people be practical here........IF you don't know how to organize OR are incapable, delegate it. WE. the racers, THE LITTLE GUYS, are the ones suffering here.

Lindsey and I were there yesterday and got four runs in. The track was not that good , our car usually goes straight but was skating around to about the 330 cone. We showed up this morning in the rain. We left about 10:00a.m. Does anybody know if any cars went down the track today.

Well, I will always be the first in this bunch to agree about the bathrooms! I've invited quite a few friends to the ANRA Opener and sadly have had to warn them about the bathrooms.

Famoso is a great track! The Bowsers do a great job! Too many people ...not enough tracks! Can't do anything about the weather I put 5 pulls on the chassis dyno and found a bunch of rear wheel horsepower . I learned more about my motor in 5 pulls than I learned in about 2000 previous 1/4 mile passes and it cost me $15 more than the price of admission to a test and tune and I didn't have to put 320 miles on the motorhome $$$$$$$$$$ Call Bottle Blown Racing in Camarillo - 805-484-3207 They are awesome!

You guys get me,You all know the first and last TnT are the most crowded. And the staging lanes are run straight across back and forth so EVERYBODY has a chance! Now. If ( ALL OF US) as racers would read there papers given to them at the gate, and be in the RIGHT lane for lane assignment, time wouldn't be wasted!! When the staging guy is looking for drivers to get in there cars, and trying to get a 5tenths car out of the 4tenths lane, trying to answer our questions because when don't listen to the PA or read our instruction sheet ( How Much TIME Is Taken Away From Racing??? ) Don't Blame the Bowser's or the Track for OUR faults and the mess our Kids and us leave the Bathrooms! Trust me They try! Theirs only a few of them, 100s of us , Do the Math

We got 3 runs in saturday, couldve got 4. didnt plan on coming back sunday. Started in the left lane and finished in the right lane. Track was very poor shap(at least for us) I did some 7.59 out ther so some were hooking.

For all the racers that were there, I thought they did a very good job. If you have been running Fontana like I have been , then racing in bakersfield is a slice of heaven. I got 3 passes in and was happy. The track was a little green, but they had quite a bit of Rain, plus it was the first TnT of the year. Any way good luck at the March meet to everybody, and have fun. I like your comparison to Fontana madmike!
Conversely, with us being used to Famoso and then going to Fontucky is a bit of a letdown.

After racing at Famoso going to Fontucky is like gettin kicked in the sack !!!!....I'm sorry but Famoso is like Disneyland...for hard core racers....come on what other track lets you play with open flame in the pits?...try that at Infineon or Fontana or Sacramento.
