OK guys you have been asking for it you wanted a good track to run on so here it is. ANRA will be running a series of races thanks to Blake & John Bowser at the number one Nostalgia track in the world Auto Club Famoso Raceway.
Saturday June 23rd and Saturday August 25th. with a special final race to be announced in a few days.
I want say thank you to Blake and John they have stepped up and with ANRA at the famous old track it will be a win / win deal.
We will be posting more and looking forward to working with the staff and crew at AAA Famoso Raceway.
The 2007 ANRA schedule will posted on the web site The first race will be the Opener will be April 14th at LACR with the Champions BBQ after the race.

On the Headerflames board it stated sportsman nostalgia ..does that mean no NE1.

YA HOO BUTCH!!!!!!!!!! You did it! Thank You to John and Blake. Now we have a real track to run on. I think the turn out will be great. So lets tell everybody that ANRA is coming to FAMOSO. Man am I excited. I think I`ll go out side and YELL - - - - - - - - - - -Okay I`m back, Did ya hear me Butch? I`m repainting my car this week, Just got done painting Rick Rogers N/TF. I gotta go YELL somemore. NEWT out!

Butch: Thank you so much for the quick response and more importantly the correct answer. You mentioned additional classes...should I, can I contact my a/f guys bout maybe running and how many is a minimun you would trial before putting the class in as a regular. Thanks ed

Butch... What great news!!!! Thank you so much, you made my day. I am really looking forward to the races a Famoso and to all the races for the year. I am building a new engine and with some luck I will be fast enough to run in c/gas. What will the index be in c/gas at famoso?

p.s. Can you please give me points for the final race in november, I finished second and received no points, I should move up to finish the year 3rd or 4th.

Sounds great Butch, ;D I was wondering how long it would take for the ANRA to run Famoso. Hopefully this will be a new step for the association and to bring in new racers for years to come.  Marc. |

Butch! I knew this would happen, just a matter of "Timing" Ect. Outstanding Buddy, Famoso, my Home, when I make the turn onto Famoso rd I get this at home,Homy feeling,when I enter the gate thousands of memories "Try" and fill my mind,and All of the sudden you're Home. Love it there! Cant wait! to bad opener is a done did deal @lacr. Gonna be FUN!!!! See ya Soon! BR
