Are the brake calipers in the rear above the Master Cylinder? I have a Altered and a rear engine dragster and Chester avenue brake counter and mechanic persons told me that if the master cylinder is below the brake calipers, then it needs a residual valve due to the fluid will not stay in the line, it will bleed back to the master cylinder. If the master cylinder is above the calipers like on a normal door car ( on the fire wall), the fluid will stay in the line due to fluid will not bleed back into the master cylinder. Hopefully that will help you some. Jeff Harris

If you have the old Airhart calipers, they have a mechanical release that may not be working. You may need to mount the master cyl. up high and loose the residual pressure valve or update the calipers.

Mr. Moseley, According to the people at Wilwood you are 100% correct. If that dont work your'e doing something wrong., When is that HAMB car going to hit the track? Did you find a residual valve for you brakes?
See ya soon Ole Sparky
