I am currently running a 29" slick 3.73 gear I think a 31" tall would help me both in ET and mph . car is a bantam altered with a blown smallblock on gas . has plenty of low end now maybe taller tire would help me keep wheels on ground? thanks

Ivan, I think i have too much tire. I have a 31x14 on my 200" fed, blown alcohol. it will stall the tires about 50% of the time and jerk the front tires out of the lights (most of the time this equates to a red light). With a smaller 12" tire, I am thinking i could get tire speed up faster and keep it from shaking. With the 14" tires, every few passes feels like i'm riding the paint can shaker @ Home Depot.
Want to try my 31x14's? I'll have them hanging on the wall of the trailer this June.
