had a great time ;D ;D ;D lots of friends to see and hang out with drive in movie was great (especaily dave and stromy drivin the dragster up to the show) ;D ;D ;D i would like to thank randy for the great weekend ;D ;D josh and family  |

My Dragfest was GREAT! It started Thurday night at Chuy's when Dave Huff let me get in the seat of "Nanook" to fire it up on NITRO. WOW! When I pushed the fuel lever on and it changed tone, Wow-O-Wow! With header flames shooting up on both sides of the big hemi I felt like a little Kid! That was way cool! I hope I can get to drive a Nitro car before I die. Thanks to Dave Huff for letting me be the fire up dummy! At Drag fest, it was really fun to announce on Fri. and get back in the tower and not have to run out and run my car or strap in one of my daughters so they could run. A very good day, right up till it rained. Saturday afternoon after taking care of going to a trackmeet and a few honey do's. Tammy and I went to the track about 5:pm. A little after 7:pm I got suited up for a ride along with "Wild Bob Vance" in the Pick Yur Part Jet truck called "Inferno" I became the 4th guy to get to ride along with Bob in the truck. It was sureal, as loud as it is on the outside, It was quiet on the inside. Like riding in a commertial Jet, the farther it went down track the harder it pushed me in the back. then the chute hit and deceleration, that big chute really slows it down in a hurry. with Bob running it easy with a passenger along it really was a rush. I have to Thank Bob Vance for letting me be to only guy on the planet to ride along in the Inferno, TWICE! We went 1 sec quicker and just a little faster at 172mph, Bob pulled the throttle back and hit the chute about 1000" Still a Great rush and a life experiance I'll never forget.
