AFTER READING THE NEW TREE ACTIVATION SYSTEM NHRA IS USING FOR PRO CLASSES<DRAG RACE CENTRAL> I WONDER IF IN OUR TYPE OF RACING<ANRA-INDEX> IT WOULDN"T BE BENIFICAL TO GO TO AN INSTANT GREEN LIGHT <AS IT WAS IN THE DAY> TO MAKE FOR A MORE INTERESTING DRAG RACE? WITH NO ELECTRONICS ALLOWED, IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THIS MIGHT BRING NOSTALGIA RACING EVEN CLOSER TO ITS ROOTS. WHAT DO YOU THINK? OZZIE.

HERE HERE !!!!!!!!!! I think it would be even better IF the powers that be, (being as how this IS "Nostalgia" racing), would go back to the "Original" rules AND classes. ie A/S stick, A/S auto, etc thru A through all the Mod/Prod and the Gas classes and gas and fuel Dragsters etc. Throw away the "Bracket" racing and go HEADS UP. Have some grudge races and match races as well.

OZZY, IF YOU OR ANYONE CANT GO RED NOW ON A .4 PRO LIGHT, AND MOST NOSTALGIA RACERS CANT. IT WILL BE VERY HARD TO BEAT THE FIRST GUY THAT FIGURES IT OUT. IM PRETTY SURE YOU KNOW HOW THOUGH. ERIC C. KNOWS TOO. IM OK WITH I/G.

I don't like the idea of instant green because it allows a racer that leaves before the light comes on to get a ridiculously low reaction time and win the race rather than getting a red light and losing as he/she should. If they're worried about people redlighting, they should change it to a 3 tenths tree to avoid any "lucky guess" reaction times but still avoid the redlights.
