To All,
We are new with you folks. New to drag racing actually. While with the oval folks we did a thing for kids called "Racers Against Drugs".
We go to schools and such, show off our cars etc with the theme that drugs and racing do not mix. The kids and parents treat you like gods. They love it and it works well.
I know that not many of you are from the San Diego area and this is short notice, but if anyone can go to Camp Pendleton this Sat. please let me know. We are hurting for cars.
Also, if you think you may be free for an event in the future let me know as well.

Thanks Tweety's Revenge. jimandjan@cox.net Jim it is short notice but there maybe some ANRA racers in the area that can attend We have a Jr Div 7 race this weekend or would love to bring the little car down for the kids to see. Please let us know ahead of time and we will try to bring in several cars. I will try to contact a couple of racers from down there and have them call you if they are not committed this weekend. Thanks For trying Butch. It went really well. Only had my car, a mini dwarf and a hulk of a pony stock, but the kids really seemed to like it. We do this a number of times a year. Usually with much more notice. Next time I will pass on information sooner. I did not know she didn't have any cars until the last minute.
I would have brought this whole thing up earlier, but I am new and do not really know any of you yet. Did not want to .... press I guess is the appropriate word.
Any one going to be there for practice at LACR on the 7th? One last thought please, some people I know just bought Barona drag strip/ Are we interested in 1/8th mile events at all?
Think I could have made this longer?

Hey Jimmy,
My car isn't done yet but I would be happy to drag it down to a R.A.D. event. (Anything for the kids) The kids can see what it takes to build one of these things! And who knows, it might be done by the next event !! LOL Just a little notice is all we need, Joe

I was part of this 2 years ago....would ike tos till be involved when my new car is done....I still have the sticker on my trailer infact, lol.
