everyone has used a gas can whether you are out of gas or priming your new carburator, went to buy a new one today, and the dam EPA is now requiring emissions controls on the cans. you have some sort of contraption you have to screw on the top, that prevents the "escape of vapor" into the air, I've been using a can since i was ten to fuel the lawnmower, i've never needed "emissions controls" on a can in my life. hell I used to use empty oil cans. I had to search all over town to find a can without the junk on it, cost me over eight dollars for a plastic gallon can, but it beats ten for one in the auto parts store. Hang on to your old ones, they aren't coming back, just another item to protect us from ourselves.
