Question on Heritage Race in Sacremento

I was looking at their website schedule and I guess because of my old age don't understand what they have posted.

I don't see qualifying or eliminations listed. I heard qualifying was Friday evening, but why would they qualify at night and then run eliminations on Saturday during the day. Pretty hard to apply data learned in the evening hours and apply to the heat of the day. Or is my old mind just messing with me?

Stacking from 6pm until 9am on Friday, July 10th at Gate 3

Friday, July 10, 2009
Load-in and tech from 10am - 6pm
Test and Tune from 12noon – 4pm --- must be a participant in the event
Stacking from 6pm on Friday till 8am on Saturday, July 11th at gate 3

Saturday, July 11, 2009
Load-in Gate 3 from 8am – 10 am
Tech from 8am till 12 noon
Racing starts at 9am

That is how we do it up here....haha.

Commonly you get two hits on friday to qualify and then SOMETIMES you get a hit saturday morning. Most of the time first round in Saturday morning'ish.
