Those of you that have the Pro Bandit shifter, Do you like the Magnum Grip (thick) or Regular (thin) handle? Im getting ready to buy one and am not sure which one would be better. This is going in a NE 1 dragster.

I had a magnum in my door car. It was VERY comfortable. Contoured nice. FWIW, i like the Hurst model better though.

I have one in my dragster and love it. It is the skinny handle. Some dragster cotpit are small and the size of handle can be tight. Mine is bolted to the frame cross brace and the leg and knee still hits the handle due nto the angle it setsout from the inner body panel. THe nutral safty switch is nice to start the car in netrual while being towed up tothe commentment line warmimg on alchol. Anyway its what you have room for and feel for. Jeff

Jeff Yup your right the room is Key in picking out the right shifter in a Dragster and another thing if you are going to use a Elect shift or a air shifter will also make that hard to put in , I built my own elect shifter and it pulls not pushs and if I don't want to use it I just flip the switch to off.
