Guys, I want to run next weekend in Bakersfield, but my car is set up for S/ST with throttle stop (linkage) and delay box (L2 unit). According to the rules I can't use a throttle stop and/or delay box. My question is can I still use the air throttle stop linkage, and simply disconnect the 12v power to my delay box, or do I have to shift linkages to a hard linkage and REMOVE the delay box.
Thanks in advance,
Bill

It's my understanding that all electronics / Throttle stops must be removed from the vehicle - Keeping it real in the ANRA . This is from the ANRA home page :ANRA ELECTRONICS POLICY: In 2009 ANRA will be following the 2009 NHRA Nostalgia Rules Supplement as POSTED on the Heritage Series website:( www.nhrahotrodheritage.com/rules-09.pdf ) regarding allowable electronics and there has been some concern about the electronics that have been left in the cars that are disconnected / not used, ANRA is respectfully asking that all electronics not approved in the 2009 NHRA Nostalgia Rules Supplement be removed prior to going through tech. This is in no way singling out any one driver or team. ANRA is not wanting to alienate anyone but wants to make it as fair as we can for all racers. Thank you for your cooperation

It's way too much trouble removing my electronics to participate in this single event. thanks again, Bill
