Does anybody no proper way to adjust worm gear on a altered steering box not for sure what kind looks like spe thanks

It's probably a P&S box. and there is only one adjuster on the side. Loosen the jam nit, turn the adjuster screw(with screwdriver) untill you feel pressure on the screw. back of just a tad, tighten the jam nut, try it out..Be sure there is greese in it...
