BUTCH, I'M SURE THIS IS A NIGHTMARE FOR YOU BUT HOW ARE WE GOING TO HANDLE THE GATE AT BAKERSFIELD FOR EVERYONE THAT CAME TO THE FIRST RACE THAT WAS CANCELED? I KNOW YOU SAID TO HOLD ON TO OUR CREW TICKETS AND YOU HAVE ALL THE TECH CARDS. GIVE US SOME INSIGHT ON HOW WE SHOULD HANDLE THE GATE AT "BAKO" O WISE ONE. WILL YOU WANT US TO GET NEW TECH CARDS OR ARE THE ONES YOU HAVE GOING TO WORK? SORRY FOR THE PROBLEMS BUT INQUIRING RACERS WANT TO KNOW. GLEN

I understand most of us do not have unlimited budgets, but this includes Butch! If we all want to continue to have an organization with people that are willing to put up the time and money to provide us a place to race, we need to support them. Butch and the rest of the crew at ANRA put up a lot of money for this race, including a free BBQ. Butch is not going to get back the money he spent, do we really want to ask him to dig into his own pockets for something that was beyond anyone's control?
Please let's support the ANRA so we can continue to race!

GREAT POINT...BUT AT THE LAST RACE THAT WAS THE OFFER PRESENTED TO THE RACERS.OTHERWISE ALL THE TEAMS WOULD JUST COLLECTED THE MONIES FOR THE EVENT THEY DIDNT RUN..OUR TEAM DIDNT EVEN START 1 CAR AND WE BROUGHT 2!

How 'bout those who can afford it just pay (Donation) & be on there merry way (to TECH) and those who can't afford a new Tech Card ask for the one from Race #1.

Somehow I just don't understand. You guys must think Butch is a multi millionaire.. Hes just a plain Joe guy trying to help out the fellow racer. If you only knew how much goes out in expendetures just to put you on the race track, Youd S%^&T your pants..Track rental isn't free you know, Track prep for one day costs more than 5 of you spend to be there. Plus-Plus.Etc. Ive driven out of state to go race. Only to be rained out before we even pulled the car out of the trailer. Then drive back home. Did they offer a free rain check?? Yea right. Then say, See ya next year.. Come on guys, How many $40.00 have you poured down your throat in beer. Suck it up, and let Butch put ANRA to work giving us a place to race. Can you imagine how much work this guy goes thru just so you can race on RACE DAY..End of rant..

I am pretty sure that there is no track rental at LACR. If there is then why are there "time only" and "LIC" passes?
The Rust-T will be at Bakerspatch for the Open Wheel class no matter how it plays out at the gate.
Oh, by the way, THANK YOU SO MUCH BUTCH for giving us a great bunch to race with.

Max Blast Max Dick is right just the average track rent at LACR ran will over $6,000.00 per day just to open the gates not including a lot of other expenses. Some day I may just post a total cost to put on a race. We are just very fortunate to have a group of Great volunteers and Family that help out to keep the cost down. The next races will cost a lot more but you will be running on the premier Drag Strip on the west coast. The time only and Lic. racers are a small part of our race and pay ANRA to run. We ran them as fill in to keep cars on track along with any ANRA racer that went out early in the rounds was welcome to get in to the T & T lane. We were going to have a make up race at LACR how ever I feel that after the last one we would not get the turn out and will honor the tech cards from the April Race at the first race at Famoso if you want to use them. More on this in a few days.

That just goes to show ya that most people really don't know what it costs to put on an event. I know Max and I'm sure he knows better...

Sometimes one has to overstate a question to stir up an answer. AGAIN, THANK YOU SO MUCH BUTCH! As for being the dumbest question or statement from a racer, Gino said it best. Often the tracks arrange to take the "gate" as the "rental" as they normally do even on a non-event race day. Please do not go and "read-in" any negative-ness in my posts as I am extremely grateful to have Butch and ANRA around. Hope you all are participating in Moly Marvin's campaign to save LACR www.savelacr.org I think. If that is incorrect then Google something about "save LACR". All of us who are internet connected need to help out SOON. regards, Max Blast

Butch, most of these guys would piss themselves if they knew what it costs to "rent" the track over there in the parking lot in Fontana....most expensive parking lot that I know of....excpet maybe Pomona....
