Hails all , been a while since i did a post and just thought i would share whats new with Blosk Group Racing A/GAS Ford Falcon.
As many of you know i did a lot of up dates last year and sat the last season out. Went to the Mopar event a couple weeks ago for 1st test. We made 3 passes (all easy) first pass 7.91/171 plus mph.
this was on 1 1/2 carbs , linkage fell off one of the split dominators. 2nd pass was out of the grove and had to shut down early but could feel the difference in horse power with all carbs working . 3rd pass again a easy pass shutting down at 800 ft running 7.98 at 146 mph. Reason for early shut down ,NO OIL PRESSURE at top end.
Got home pulled pan and bearings look great so back together, also pounded out one of the valve seals so thats next for replacing along with some new oil return lines. Havent found oil problem but think i know what the deal is .but wont know until i fire her up again. should make the ANRA race on the 23rd.
figure she had a 7.70 in her at mopar race had i ran her out.
Will be interesting to see what happens at famoso. Hope all is well with everyone. Look forward to seeing Bill Burch out again. and i have several things in the works for Blosk group racing that i hope to share by the end of the month....

Guess i have to respond to my own message.. Great job Stan! lmao
Not that anyone cares (smile) d**n cant seem to get anything done. Ordered tool from comp cams so i can remove hammered out valve seals and they send 1/2 tool, saying they are back ordered for the rest. WHAT am i to do with half a tool!!!!
order -12 ,90s ,and what do i get after waiting a week....120 s (useless), d**n i cant get a break! reordered fittings and still looking for a above head valve spring remover.
trying like heck to finish for the 23rd.
Oh sure , than Gino writes me and says there ready.. Bite me!
LOL; such is racing . hope to see all this weekend.

Well we made it to the race -sort of, lol. Didnt have time to set up the chassis but finished most everything else we needed to. Missed frist round of qualifying because we didnt pass tech. (belts out of date) .Through the efforts of many was loaned a set and installed them just as they called 2nd round of qualifying. On that pass had to shut off just past the 1/8 mile, car was all over the place. made some changes and off to first round of elim. Car left better but still got crazy after 1/8 mile at about 140MPH and had to shut off. had i been able to make first qualifing i would have been able to figure things out, as it was i didnt until we were done. But thats racing..... Ed youll never know how hard it was to lift against that Dodge of yours ,lol
Thanks to ALL.., My crew worked there butts off. And all had a GREAT time..
