Does anyone know where I can get replacement parts for a P&S steering box? If not, do you know of a new box that will bolt into the same mount? I am looking for a new main shaft/worm gear, and the pin that rides in the worm gear. The old one is sloppy and there is no adjustment left.
Thanks,

Mark Williams Ent. had some P&S replacement parts available. I was told that they bought the remaining inventory when P&S was shut down. It appears that most of the P&S parts that were listed on their website have been taken down.
We bought a pin from them earlier this year. Our pin was only slightly worn but more importantly the press fit was loose in the arm allowing movement. Also check the support brackets on the cross shaft and at the steering shaft as a small amout of wear in those areas result in significant steering play.
Good Luck Rich

Rich,
Thanks, I found the parts on Mark Williams website and ordered them two days ago. I got a call the next day saying they no longer carried the parts and they did not know where to get them. I also noticed they removed them from their website that day. It is looking like I may have to buy a new box!
Thanks again.

Have you checked with the Chassis Shop <www.chassisshop.com>
I think they were only selling complete units. Not sure if they handle parts. Looks like the unit they sell used the same bracket.
Good Luck, Tom

I luckily I found a guy selling spare parts on EBAY, so I have a few extra parts like shafts and worm gear. I wanted to buy more parts to build a spare box, but probably ain't happening now.

Hope this will help you out. My 30 year old p&s box had 1/4" play right and left directions> I pressedsteering box swing arm pin out of swing arm and reinstalled the pin 45degrees from where it was and had zero play.
