JR / BUTCH IS D/GAS A 10.90 OR 10.60 DIAL IN?? THE RULES SAY 10.60 BUT AT THE OPENER I THINK IT WAS 10.90 IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN. WE THOUGHT WE WOULD RUN IN THIS CLASS BUT THE RULES SAY 1975 OR OLDER. WE HAVE A 1976 VEGA. CAN I LIE AND SAY IT'S A 1975??? JUST KIDDING BUT SINCE THE CLASS DIDN'T HAVE THAT MANY ENTRANTS (3 I THINK) IT WOULD BE A LITTLE MORE COMPETITIVE IF WE WERE ALLOWED TO RUN THIS CLASS. DO YOU OR ANY OF THE CLASS RACERS OBJECT??? LET ME KNOW. THANKS GLEN

Glen all the gas cars run the .90 index we have made it "79" and older so bring it on. I need to update the rules on line we want to get the car count up in the Gasser class's. Hope that answers your questions. Butch

Butch is correct. Not sure where it still shows 1975 and older, but it should be 1979. The .90 index was brought about last year when we had a drivers meeting amongst the gasser drivers....a .90 index was more realistic for the group as a whole.....

More gassers period......hell, if the NE cars can run out there, there is no reason why more door cars don't show up for the index classes.....

Chase? That you BRO? I agree.. more gassers. Besides.. ya need to throw a fiberglass '72 front end on that vega anyways... and paint some '72 lookin tail lights on it so you can go GG racing with us too. We ANRA's are fun at palmdale, but the Good-Guys races afford us more party time.. as they can't get organized enough to let us actually do some racing. (2 passes in 3 days is BIG DOIN'Z) Anyways... YES to letting you race against JODY.. lol (someone's gotta woop his butt sooner or later)

G-G's 2004 C/Gas Champ, Jim Shwarts won the title in a 76 Vega. Monty Fitsgerold has won a Good-Guy's event too, in a car that was built after 1972. Maybe I'm the only one who's counting......
