Thanks for all the recommendations guys . I just want a piece that will stay together . Anyone that has worked on one of these early Falcon chassis cars knows how much fun it is to tear the trans or motor out . It's about a two pint transfusion job No easy way to do it . I've got a Continental 8"+ going in it with alot more stall (4000-4500) than I had before so we'll see what it does to the car . I had a tight little converter in it before with only about a 3200 on the transbrake stall speed and was leaving at 3000 . I've been told it should actually make the car more consistant and might even go a little quicker . We'll see how it works hopefully next weekend at LACR iat the SCEDA race

Understood Jody...I'm a glutton for punishment and I enjoy the show so i'll be there but we'll miss you there! Hey I just dropped my trans out and took the Conveter out ....How come all these big pieces of metal are falling out of it ??The input spline in the converter is in about 8 pieces and all these really cool bearings are coming out too . UH....Houston , we have a problem ;D This Bad Ass 450 HP small block Ford is a converter crushing animal I'm boxing it up and sending it back to Hughes to see what they say about it . The good news is no metal in the pan and the pump looks good . All the stuff stayed in the converter . I can't believe it still had a 1.50 sixty foot in this condition . Back to the drawing board

I never broke the M21! Besides, the launch at 6000 RPM is B*tchen!! Maybe you sould listen to Roy and Butch when this one goes BOOM!
