To the A.N.R.A. Family,
I will start by thanking Butch and the Bowser family for again putting on a great show. Again you guys hit all your shift points to allow us racers a great event to race in.
To everybody who helped us with our cars, from the Van Osten Family (Larry & J.R), Bascom Family, Bad Azz Family, and anybody that I’m forgetting that may have helped, Thank you very much! We couldn’t have done it with out our ANRA family.
To our Crew Chief, Jason, This weekend could have not happened without your efforts. You did so many things to make it all happen, there’s just too much to list. The one thing you didn’t do is complain. Again, thank you so much for always making me feel confident that I have a safe and well-tuned racecar, from our first dragster (Drag master), to the Fiat (pre-blower) to the Fiat the way it is today. Thank you for always being there and you did a hell of a job this weekend.
Dad, Maria, &Tommy-Thank you for all your help as well, we definitely couldn’t do it without you.
Mark-We miss you out there, it’s not the same without you. Thanks again,
Scott Spence Spence Family Racing

JR:
Well here's what we found. Snapped an intake valve off @ the stem and wedged it sideways into the head. Pounded it in real good with the piston. Didn't put a hole in the piston this time though. Broke one push rod and bent the heck out of the other one (all this #5 hole). Valve rattled around in cylinder for a while before wedging into head so cylinder has some "pock" marks. Gonna take us a while to sort this out. Pulling the motor this weekend or next. Will have to see if we can put the 327 back together and get her runnin again. Later!
