It sure seems that the Top Fuel and Funny Car guys aren't to Happy with the NHRA. Is there any thought of running NTF and NFC in the ANRA?

If it ain't broke... don't fix it. That's ANRA, the current format of the organization works great and we know that Butch does his best for us sportsman racers. So, let's keep it as is. And if some big boys wanna pay their own way and come do a match race or exhibition runs, let them bring the $$$ to fund it.

top fuel at ANRA,,,sure,,,,let them park out in the dirt,,way out back. For the last six years Butch has gone out of his way to give us sportsmen guys a place to race with out feeling like a redheaded step children. Hats of to ANRA for (NOT) becoming another Good Guys event.

Anyone at the last Heritage race in Sacramento can vouch for this; they had a tnt/lic. lane there and the one nitro car blew up and it took close to two hours to clean the track. It killed the rest of the show. They had to finish the finals on Sunday morning.
NO NITRO CARS. Nice people I like them and get along well with most of then, however thank you but no thank you.

Joe and Gino summed up how I feel about this. I'm only in my 4th year of actually racing a car (been around it since I was a kid though) but from what I saw at GG races in the past, guys and gals like us got treated like 2nd class "fillers". Yes, the nitro people are wonderful and put on a great show, but it just doesn't fit what ANRA is about right now. ANRA is our place to shine and get a fair shake.
