I totally agree with what you all have said, The only reason I would like to see them is for Butch to get more folkes in the stands so he could make a few more $$$$ for his hard work.I dont think I've ever seen a more dedicated promoter in my entire race career,30 yrs, and I've seen a BUNCH! Most of them are alittle shady, not to mention names. Thanks Butchy!!!!! Love that Guy!!!!!!

I would like to see more people in our stands too, but sadly alot of these people are what I call "nitro junkies" that's all they come for. I still think they would take away from what ANRA's Showcase is... the sportsman racer. I kinda like the ADRL's marketing strategy of a series sponsor flipping the bill for tickets and you give them out free and they fill stands with NO nitro. Now, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing some AA/Gas cars run with us if they can bring some sponsors with them.

The AA/GS is another f...ed up can of worms that no one can agree on.
This is the way I see the spectator situation; with the exception of the nitro classes ( and a few others), drag racing is a participant sport. Not a spectator sport. We try to always invite some one new to join us everytime we go out. They would rather ride in the truck than sit in the stands.
