What happens when 2 cars are going down track and for whatever reason one hits the other and damages it (whether it be from loss of control, oil slick, or mechanical failure)? Does everyone fix their own damages or is the person that collided responsible for both vehicles? I have never been able to get an answer for this question. Thanks.

Guest,, Racing is Racing,, You take the bumps and bruises and go forward. You fix your own machine.. Can you imagine what it would be like if you had to fix the other guys car, If you were in NASCAR..

I had a competitors tire come off at the finnish line and it hit my dragster, I didn't even think about asking him to fix my car. Thats racing...
