Irwindale, Calif. - - The fans have been asking for it, the drivers and their crews too … And they’re all about to have some good old Saturday Drag Racing fun on the Toyota Dragstrip with two great meets coming up in November and December.
With the thought that the weather in early November is still warm enough for a night race on the quick eight-mile course dragcorner.com has got the track wired-in for one of their patented "too much show" shows THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6th.
Their Classic Car and Hot Rod Show during the daylight hours and their Fall Team Challenge Drag Races in the late afternoon and on into the night this is one that a lot of folks are digging out their best car club jacket and getting ready to attend in style.
dragcorner is also planning a "Parade of Stars", exciting exhibition runs, a "cackle" or three, and has named Dragfink.com’s own Joe DeGrandis as (appropriately enough) the event’s Grand Marshall.
A portion of the proceeds will go to charity and a wealth of event details may be found on the www.dragcorner.com website, along with entry information and last-minute additions to the already packed show.
