I'm not Joel, but as long as there is a SFI 38.1 tag it is legal. 2009 falls within the 5 yr re cert.

Def N Der is no longer making that unit however, if you have one that needs to be recerted, they will recert it for you..

Yes, they are still legal for use...As one said earlier, if it's 38.1 certed, it's still good..

Will they be coming out with something new later on .Good question..There is something on the drawing board, but not sure what the current status is..

I know the DJ is trying to get their's up and going..I have one here, but it's not SFI 38.1 approved as yet...No 'get well date' is available..Hopefully, soon..

joel ,,this is Tom with randy and bobby in vegas we are trying to find a device small like the defnder and reasonably priced. Because of the small rollcage Bobby can't get in and out of the car with a hans. because of the price of changing the the rollcage and getting the neck restraint with the economy the way it is it is not an option. any sugestions??? thanks
