Man...Is it just me or is this the slowest year ever for us in Drag Racing?  Rain out at March Meet , Lots of weather related post poned races , California speedway down for what seemed like an eternity , Famoso same story getting a new surface , No Infineon Good-Guys race this year and Seattle was a rain out ( I wasn't going to this one but it counts) Now mid summer heat and not many races going on at LACR . I'm on my first pair of tires still for this year - Not Normal!!!!! Can't wait to get back out there - more races please!!!!!! |

Agreed...  ..Looks like we'll be heading for Palmdale this Saturday for a short Tnt..Providing I can pry the 'Mighty Mouse" off the jack stands.. ;D..I'll probably need a map on how to get there...  |

Oh oh  Just read the weather report for Palmdale for this weekend... 105+ winds...Think I'm gonna pass on going up... Dam..If it aint drowning you out, it's cookin' you out..What the heck is going on here?? Weather is nutzy Any idea's where there's an air conditioned enclosed track close by in So Cal?? Someone take up a collection please |

We will be there Friday night for T & T and Sunday for the Jr race we do our part to put some rubber down for you big guys ;D ;D ;D |

Eric,
I do agree , this has been one strange season for drag racing. We had everything from weather problems to tracks under reconstruction or highways (138)as well .
Hopefully we will have a better second half to this race year.

I,m new at this. first time. building a nostalga altered for next year,but what assn are going to be running on the west coast primairly ca. heard that goodguys was out. if so whos taking it over . A.C.

Good Guys is up in the air . Right now ANRA looks like the best bet . Keep watching this site for next years schedule and we'll see you at the races!

Goodguys are done..or so they say. We are trying our best to secure 4-5 events next year. Famoso is putting on the Bakersfield March Meet March 10-12, 2007....
Otherwise I haven't heard of anything else solid....stay tuned!!!
