Slingshot Dragster Frame For Sale Offers.
Another Dream for another day.
This was Stu Byron's first dragster frame. He called her Betty Boop one.
It was raced in the 70's
It had been sitting around for many years when he and I decided that we we're gonna put her back together and run her in an open wheel nostalgia class with the ANRA, and were gonna hold her back in the 11's to keep from having her certified.
Anyway Stu passed away and I brought her home to build her.
Unfortunately I haven't had the bux to do her up and I may be moving soon and I can't take her with me if I go, so with that being said I'm putting her up for sale.
She's approx 283" total length with approx. 186" wheel base.
The main frame is made of 1 1/4" tubing with 1 3/4" roll cage.
She landed hard once and got bent but has been straightened and reinforced.
