Hope everyone had a great "Thanksgiving"

On another board yesterday, someone posted that Dave Houghs' "NANOOK" AAFA was going to be on the 'Pinks" show that was done in Vegas a few weeks back.

Not be a fan of this program, I did manage to stomach thru the first hour to see if I could catch the "Nanook" run, but nope..Stayed for the 2nd hour, which was a repeat of the first hour??? One thing for sure, Ken Long did a great job of working his Camaro thru the field to win a pretty hefty some of cash plus a darn nice tool box.

Congratulations Ken...For those who do now know him, He was a long time staple at LACR and is pretty active running at the ANRA races...Great job.

Still didn't see the AAFA run; and still not a fan of the show. Now, have them do an NE1 show, and I just might change my mind..lol

I AGREE 100%. WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO SHOW AN ALTERED EVENT. IF THEY DROP THAT STUPID FINAL ROUND THAT IS THREE LAPS AND JUST HAVE A FIELD OF 16 CARS FROM THE START IT WOULD WORK GREAT. I KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO SHOW IS TO KEEP STREET RACERS OFF THE STREET AND ON THE DRAG STRIP. I AM NOT A FAN EITHER BUT IT IS DRAG RACING NONE THE LESS.

IF YOU LOOK AT THE CARS RACING THAT EVENT NONE WERE STREET CARS SO AS FAR AS KEEPING THE CARS OFF THE STREET THEY ARE MISSING THAT.PLUS THEY KEEP RUNNING A 10.30 TO 11.50 CLASS OF CARS HOW MANY STRRET CARS DO YOU KNOW THAT RUN THOSE NUMBERS.BUT YOU ARE RIGHT IT RACING!

Yes there are a lot of race cars. But there are a lot of street cars also. I ran my NOVA at VEGAS PINKS ALL OUT. You get real frustrated going to a race that you know your not going to qualify for when you can only run high 11,s. I still watch the show. And I get pissed off everytime they go high 9,s to 10.30,s on the show. It was fun anyways.

They are coming to Sonoma in September we will go spectate but not take a car, seems like they only want the 9-10 sec. cars. Did tell my cousin to run his C/Gas car there, he'd have a good chance.
