Battery Box Question

Is a vented battery box necessary in an open seating car, such as a dragster, or altered? The rules are clear regarding a battery in the trunk on a door car. But, in a T-Bucket, for instance, the battery is in the "trunk" area, but in reality, hanging out in the breeze, just like when they are mounted out in front on a F.E.D. Couldn't find anything definitive in the rule book.

No it is not. But battery must be secured per rules.
