About a week or so ago, some info popped up about a 'new' NHRA rule relating to the mounting of wings on open bodied altereds.. Although it was never posted here, there have been some discussions about what the impact might have on many of the ANRA Participants. It refereed primarily to "Altereds", and how the wing struts were mounted to parts of the roll cage.. ANYWAY. for those that heard about this and weren't sure what to do, the latest information is, that this information had been released prematurely and in error.. That it was a "Draft" recommendation that was under review, and that if approved, would not go into effect until 2015. So, if you made it thru Tech with a 'wing' on your open bodied car this past year (or so), then you'll be ok for 2015..
More info will be posted as it becomes available.
