Good day everyone!
I am writing a small online article about older drivers. I would like to put put the call to anyone in the community who is currently racing, as I would like to talk to you about your abilities, your love of the sport, why you keep doing it etc... Specifically, I am looking for current racers who are 65 and older. Also, if anyone between the ages of 55-64 currently racing would like to contact me to talk about their plans for their future in the sport, I would be very happy. And, I would be thrilled if there is a woman in these age brackets who would also like to talk to me. I have an idea of where I am going with this piece, but having the personal touch of the people who are living it would be fantastic.
The point of this article is to talk about the amazing people who do what they do long after others think that they should be slowing down. We have so many preconceptions about the abilities, strengths and weaknesses of people of all ages. I'm trying to do my bit to smash some of those stereotypes.
Thanks! Marion
