Some of you guys that run the NE3 class at the VRA races surly know John and Margie Cassie.
I got a phone call today Telling me that their 38 yr old son Darrin passed away from an automobile accident. If you went to the races you knew the Cassies. Darrin will be greatly missed by all.
A nice card or phone call would be a great help for them...

To the entire Cassie family, We are truely saddened by this news. We have spent time with the Cassies at a few events and Darrin will be missed. God Speed Darrin. Our prayers are with John and his entire family....

Words cannot describe the feelings we have for John and Margie and the whole Cassie family for the great loss they have endured. The Cassie are a very tight family and with out a doubt one of the nicest families in drag racing. They are in our prayers. Gods speed to Darrin, he will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing this fine young man.
