Well we took Josh and the little lawn mower powered dragster to Redding for the Div. 7 Jr finals. Heck even getting to run the race of Champions for team Famoso 13-14 age group. The weather was great Saturday morning 1200' cool and just a small breeze car was running great low 7.90's, high 7,80's made 3 time runs we are ready. OPPS last run popped the head off the exhaust valve not a good thing 
pulled a John Force had 3 teams from Team Famoso helping to strip the motor out change over to a smaller loaner thanks to Ric Fauset and J Camron along with Make-It-Motorsports got it changed in 30 minutes (thanks guys) made the call for a quick time run the little mower motor was running great. Won 1st round feeling good then ran to fast in round 2 so we got to watch the rest of the race. No Wally this time. These Kids at this level are tuff.
Day two was even better.
Sunday weather even better than Saturday made 2 time runs Mower motor running great. The people at Redding run a good race and it moved real smooth.
Team Race
Josh is running for Team Famoso the team has a good bunch of racers
1st run Josh meets up with his buddy Jimmy Morison they seem to meet in the 1st or second round every race, one time Josh wins, next time Jimmy wins. Real nice kid. Josh gets the jump at the hit and runs great 60', 330' times brakes a bit Jimmy pass's him gets off the brake Jimmy brakes, Josh pass's him brakes, Jimmy comes up on him both get it on. Down the track they go win light comes on MOV 0.00001 Josh goes home
One of the guys in the tower said one more coat of paint you have a winner. Great race and a good lesson as T Pot Ron says "DON'T LIFT" No that's Marla and the crew that says that. This is one time slip that will go on the wall. 
The Kids from team Famoso came through won the team race in a big way great bunch of kids. Nice trophy and jacket.
This is one of those deals there are no losers at a race like this.
